Returning to Local Cultural Values: Reflections on the Cultural Appropriateness of Preschool Education Policies %A 邹梦婕 %A 王金萍 %J Advances in Education %P 1035-1041 %@ 2160-7303 %D 2024 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ae.2024.1461041 %X 在“全球化”和多元文化背景下,文化适宜性成为学前教育政策改革中的根本问题。学前教育机构作为文化传承的场所,其理念和价值取向都深深根植于特定的本土文化背景之中。但往往在各国的学前教育政策改革中都会出现文化不适宜的问题,进而产生各种实践矛盾,不利于高质量学前教育的发展。这些实践问题证明,学前教育的政策改革不应盲目推崇所谓先进理念,而应是回归本土的文化观念与价值取向。因此,当今的中国学前教育政策理念应处理好发展适宜性理念与中国文化情景的契合和适应问题,可以吸取西方学前理念之精华,但是更应传承和回归中国优秀传统文化的核心价值理念。
In the era of globalization and multiculturalism, ensuring cultural appropriateness has emerged as a pivotal concern within the reformation of preschool education policies. Preschool institutions serve as vital hubs for cultural transmission, deeply embedded within distinct local cultural contexts. Yet, the issue of cultural incongruity often arises during policy reforms across nations, leading to practical dilemmas and hindering the advancement of high-quality preschool education. These challenges underscore the necessity for policy reforms to not blindly advocate for purportedly advanced concepts, but rather to align with local cultural norms and values. Therefore, contemporary preschool education policy in China must address the imperative of reconciling developmental appropriateness within the Chinese cultural milieu. While incorporating elements from Western preschool paradigms, it is essential to preserve and revitalize the core values of traditional Chinese culture. %K 文化适宜性,学前教育价值取向,学前教育政策改革
