Modern city parks, with their openness, public nature and strong epochal character, are important places for the construction of modern city life and public consciousness, and are significantly influenced by the changes in modern sports concepts. Therefore, this paper takes the change of modern sports concepts as an entry point to explore the design of urban parks in Jiangnan under the influence of “invasion”, “struggle” and “remodeling” from the perspective of three changes, and analyzes the representative parks from the perspective of design. From the perspective of design, we analyze the design features and inner space formation mechanism of the representative parks by combining historical archives, and summarize the three design perspectives of park sports space, namely “co-existence of recreation and exercise”, “development of practice” and “co-existence of sports and education”. It summarizes the three design features of park sports space: “co-existence of recreation and exercise”, “development of practice” and “co-existence of sports indoctrination”, and then discusses the shaping traction of modern sports concepts on park design under the guidance of different social power games, triggering the reflection and exploration on the interaction between public concepts and spatial design, and emphasizing the endogenous driving force for the development of parks in China. %K 近代公园,体育观念,公园设计,江南城市
