A Study on the Teaching Strategies of Integrating Red Culture into Junior Middle School English Courses from the Perspective of Cultural Confidence %A 文依扬 %A 雷琬瑢 %J Advances in Education %P 386-391 %@ 2160-7303 %D 2024 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ae.2024.146946 %X 在英语教学中有效融入红色文化,是提升青少年的文化认同度与文化自信,建设社会主义文化强国的重要举措,可以深化历史认知、提高道德修养、强化文化传承、促进国际交流。研究发现,当前,红色文化在英语教学中的应用面临诸多困境,如教材资源不足、教师专业素养挑战以及应试教育倾向等困难。为此,文章提出优化教材内容、补充红色资源、开展小组合作、拓展校园文化、加强与高校联合、改进评价机制等教学策略。
Effectively integrating red culture into English teaching is an important measure to enhance teenagers’ cultural recognition and self-confidence, and to build a socialist cultural power. It can deepen historical cognition, improve moral accomplishment, strengthen cultural inheritance, and promote international exchanges. It is found that the application of red culture in English teaching is faced with many difficulties, such as insufficient textbook resources, challenges of teachers’ professional quality and the tendency of exam-oriented education. To this end, the paper puts forward some teaching strategies, such as optimizing textbook content, supplementing red resources, developing group cooperation, expanding campus culture, strengthening union with colleges and universities, and improving evaluation mechanism. %K 文化自信,红色文化,初中英语,教学策略
