A Comparative Discussion on the Types and Strategies of Teachers’ Questioning in Reading Class Based on Scaffolding Theory %A 葛雯倩 %J Advances in Education %P 338-346 %@ 2160-7303 %D 2024 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ae.2024.146939 %X 教师课堂提问在外语课堂教学中起着重要作用,但国内外语教学界的学者们对此问题研究甚少。本文以社会文化理论中的支架理论为基础,通过对两个不同学段的英语阅读课堂的四节课例进行观察、记录、分析与研究,探讨比较了不同的课堂提问类型和提问策略在不同英语水平的班级上所起到的支架功能,并根据课堂观察分析总结原因,为教师如何在中学阅读课中使用提问策略培养学生的思维水平提供了建议。
Teachers’ questioning in classroom plays an important role in foreign language teaching, but scholars in the field of foreign language teaching have little research on this issue. Based on the scaffolding theory in sociocultural theory, this paper explores and compares the scaffolding functions of different types of classroom questioning and questioning strategies in classes with different English levels by observing, recording, analyzing and studying four lessons in two different stages of English reading classes, summarizes the reasons according to classroom observation, and provides some suggestions for teachers on how to use questioning strategy to cultivate students’ thinking level in middle school reading class. %K 教师提问,提问类型,支架策略
