%X 新中国成立后“一五”时期所建设的工人住宅区在老工业城市中广泛存在，在城市更新背景下如何进行保护使得老旧的工业住宅区重获新生，以济南市天桥区堤口路煤炭局宿舍为例，文章通过对工人住区的特点以及现有问题进行剖析并结合国内外类型相同老旧工人住区的保护经验，从实体环境、运作体系等多方面展开寻找针对工人住区的保护和更新策略。在实体环境方面提出控制工人住区整体建筑风貌、优化居住功能、公共空间、增添基础设施等方面的更新策略，在运作体系方面提出多方参与的协同策略，并形成完善的社区治理周期闭环。为其它相同类型的工人住区保护和更新提供可借鉴的思路。<br />
Workers’ residential areas built during the “First Five-Year Plan” period after the founding of New China are widespread in old industrial cities. Under the background of urban renewal, how to protect and rejuvenate old industrial residential areas is crucial. Taking the dormitory of the Coal Bureau on Dikou Road, Tianqiao District, Jinan City as an example, this article analyzes the characteristics and existing problems of workers’ residential areas and combines the protection experience of similar old workers’ residential areas at home and abroad. It explores protection and renewal strategies for workers’ residential areas from multiple aspects such as physical environment and operational systems. In terms of the physical environment, renewal strategies are proposed to control the overall architectural style of the workers’ residential area, optimize residential functions, public spaces, and add infrastructure. In terms of the operational system, a collaborative strategy involving multiple parties is proposed to form a complete community governance cycle closed-loop. This provides a reference for the protection and renewal of other similar types of workers’ residential areas.
