Shantui General Plant is an industrial heritage with important historical value, carrying the historical and cultural memory of local industrial development. This article will discuss the conservation and renovation strategies of Shantui General Plant, aiming to provide guidance for its sustainable development through a comprehensive analysis of relevant cases and strategies. Industrial heritage is a historical witness to the industrial development of mankind and has important historical, cultural and economic values. However, with the progress and development of industry, many industrial heritage buildings are facing the fate of demolition or abandonment. The purpose of this paper is to study the transformation and protection of industrial heritage, and to discuss how to achieve the sustainable development of industrial heritage while retaining the historical and cultural value, so as to provide a useful reference for the future protection of industrial heritage.
