In the trend of globalization, the application of traditional Chinese patterns gives unique national characteristics to furniture design and makes it stand out in the international arena. The application of traditional Chinese patterns in furniture design is not only the decorative use, but also the embodiment of cultural inheritance and innovation, they inject a unique cultural flavor into the furniture, show the charm of the profound Chinese culture, and make the furniture as the bearer of culture, conveying the temperature of history and the style of the times. This paper takes Chinese traditional patterns as the research object, and through the overview analysis of Chinese traditional patterns and the analysis of the current development of traditional patterns in furniture design, its application in furniture design is deeply discussed.
