Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is a complication that may occur after surgery, and it has an impact on the long-term prognosis of patients. In this paper, the influencing factors, pathogenesis and preventive measures of POCD are reviewed, aiming to provide solid theoretical support for clinical workers to understand and deal with POCD.
