In recent years, the national style fever has become a hot spot in society. Under the background of national style fever, national traditional sports culture, as the representative of China’s excellent traditional culture, contains rich ideological and political value. This article discusses the importance and role of traditional national sports culture in the ideological and political work of colleges and universities, analyzes its ideological and political values, and puts forward corresponding realization paths, aiming to provide new ideas and methods for the innovation and development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities.
