%X 城中村是中国城市化进程中的一幅“图景”。全方位探析这种社会形态，结果是：① 从城中村在中国演化的历程，及其所展示的共性特征判定，它是比乡土基层更上一层的社会形态；界定城中村的概念时，应突出它的经济支撑和历史文化传承；通过实地探访，真实感受到城中村共性特征和独有特质。② 城中村与中国城市化进程和长期沿袭城乡二元结构体制密切相关，又是村民对村落历史文化的认同，特殊经济形态的选择，村落利益共同体的依赖的结果。③ 正视导致城中村负面评价的事实依据，认清城中村是中国当前体制下多方利益博弈和理性考量所形成的一种暂时平衡，对中国城市化进程起到了积极的作用。④ 将城中村定位为既有别于乡村，又有别于城市的“第三元”，通过系统治理，引领其走向城乡融合发展的道路。⑤ 城中村研究的社会重要性在于有助于更加深入全面地解读这种社会形态，有利于城中村的平稳过渡和促进其社会治理现代化。<br />
The urban village was a “picture” in the process of China’s urbanization. Based on a comprehensive analysis on this social formation, the results were obtained. ① The urban village was a higher social formation than local grassroots from its evolution in China and its general characteristics. When defining the concept of urban village, its economic support, historical and cultural inheritance should be protruded. Through on-site visiting, the general characteristics and unique features of urban village were truly felt. ② The urban village closely related to the process of China’s urbanization and the long-term implementation of the urban-rural dual structure system. It were results that the villager recognized the history and culture of the village, selected specific economic type, formed a dependence on the community of village interests. ③ The factual basis of causing negative evaluations of urban village should be confronted. It was seen clearly that the urban village was a temporary balance of multi stakeholder game and rational consideration under the current system in China, and had active role in the process of China’s urbanization. ④ The urban village was located “Third element” of differencing from rural and urban, it was lead towards the path of urban-rural integrated development by systematic governance. ⑤ The researches of urban village showed social importance of contributing to decode this social formation more profoundly and comprehensively, be in favour of smooth transition of urban village, and promote its modernization of social governance.
