With the rapid progress of educational technology, the chemical visualization tools have become an important part of chemistry education. This paper explores the main types of chemical visualization tools and analyzes their advantages in chemistry teaching. More importantly, this paper also explores how these tools can stimulate students’ interest in learning, including providing novel representations, a gamified operation experience, and a combination of virtual and real inquiry experience.
