Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein immunoglobulin G antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) is an immune-mediated inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system. However, its specific etiology and pathogenesis are still unclear. In recent years, there have been increasing reports of MOGAD following infection, and even cases of MOGAD occurring simultaneously with infection. The role of infection in the pathogenesis of MOGAD has gradually received attention, particularly regarding the immunotherapy of MOGAD secondary to infection and MOGAD during the course of an infection. This article reviews the research on the correlation between infection and MOGAD, discusses the role of infection in MOGAD, the possible pathogenesis, and provides evidence for clinical practice. %K 感染,MOGAD,相关性,可能机制
