%X 文化负载词的翻译常面临语义空缺现象,是翻译中的一大难点,相较其它类型词汇而言更依靠译者发挥其主体性,采用灵活的翻译策略进行应对。本文基于《阿Q正传》两个主流译本,进行社会文化负载词翻译策略的对比,探析不同文化背景的译者面临翻译难点的主体性发挥情况。
The translation of culture-loaded words often faces the phenomenon of semantic vacancy, which is a major difficulty in translation. Compared with other types of words, the translation relies more on the translator to exert his subjectivity and adopt flexible translation strategies to deal with it. Based on the two mainstream translations of The Ture Story of Ah Q, this paper makes a comparison of the translation strategies of social and cultural-loaded words, and explores how translators under different cultural backgrounds exert their subjectivity in the face of translation difficulties.
