Employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood and development. The employment of college graduates is an important link to foster virtue through education, and a staple of the “Three Comprehensive Education”, which is related to people’s livelihood and the future of the nation. Based on the background of national energy transition and carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategies, and the integration of ideological and political work and employment under the concept of “Three Comprehensive Education”, the paper makes an in-depth discussion on the practical significance, employment status and challenges of new energy major graduates in universities.
