In the higher education system, cultivating people, defining the training objectives and determining the trainers are always the core issues. Counselors, shoulder the heavy task of students’ ideological and political education, play a vital role in promoting the development of students’ moral education. With the deepening reform of the educational system, counselors should actively carry out the reform of the three religions and skillfully integrate craftsmanship into ideological and political education. This integration will not only help to improve the ideological level of students, but also subtly make them inherit and carry forward the Chinese spirit. Under the background of the reform of the three religions, it is not only the innovation of the traditional educational model, but also the profound grasp and inheritance of the spirit of the times to probe into the cultivation of the craftsman spirit in the ideological and political education of college students. This practice is concrete and far-reaching, devoting itself to cultivating the new age youth with high professional quality and profound humanistic connotation, and contributing to the prosperity and development of society.
