%X 马克思和恩格斯创立唯物史观的基石，是对“物质”概念进行站在巨人肩膀上的革新。马克思主义的“物质”范畴，较之以往拘泥于感性直观的形式，实现了“物质”范畴由客观实在向人的实践活动的突破。面对当代自然科学发展到微观世界，诸如分子、原子和量子层面，对马克思主义“物质”范畴进行重申，有着维护马克思主义“物质”概念的积极意义。<br />
The cornerstone of the materialist conception of history founded by Marx and Engels was the inno-vation of the concept of “matter” standing on the shoulders of giants. The Marxist category of “mat-ter” has realized a breakthrough from the objective reality to the practical activities of human beings, compared with the previous form of sticking to the sensual intuition. In the face of the development of contemporary natural science to the microcosmic world, such as the molecular, atomic and quantum levels, the reaffirmation of the Marxist category of “matter” has a positive significance in safeguarding the Marxist concept of “matter”.
