In the context of accelerating globalization, foreign language proficiency increasingly becomes crucial for professionals and international affairs. The PISA assessment project, initiated by the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), is dedicated to evaluating the knowledge and skills of 15-year-old students in core subjects, and is widely embraced by countries worldwide. This paper delves into the PISA assessment framework, particularly emphasizing its contribution to environmental education, and examines the significance of English learning in both global and domestic educational contexts.
