This paper analyzes and summarizes the problems that are easy to occur in ideological and political education teaching in railway transportation major courses, summarizes and condenses the effective path of ideological and political education teaching in railway transportation major courses, and provides an ideological and political education model named “4S” that focuses on good example of famous experts and workmen, major national trends, history of disciplinary development and current affairs and hot-spots about the railway transit. These can form a reproducible, reference and operable experience model in ideological and political education teaching in major courses of rail transit. It not only helps and guides young students to establish lofty ideals, political aspirations, and good values, and strives for the realization of a strong country in transportation and the great Chinese Dream, but it also guides major teachers in the field of rail transit to carry out teaching reforms on ideological and political education. %K 思政,轨道交通专业,教学模式
