The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, which has greatly facil-itated exchanges and cooperation between China and the countries along the route. As a result, there has been an increasing demand for translation and research in this field. In this context, with the help of CiteSpace software, this paper visualizes and analyzes the domestic and international translation research focusing on the “Belt and Road” Initiative in CNKI and Web of Science data-bases from 2013 to 2023, and discusses the themes of the articles, research hotspots, and evolution paths in this field, as well as analyzes the overall development trend in this field. The findings re-veal that there is a substantial amount of domestic translation research literature on the “Belt and Road” Initiative, covering a wide range of fields, such as translation strategies, skills, and foreign propaganda translation. However, there also exist some limitations, such as the lack of collaboration among scholars, the neglect of translation practice research, and the homogenization of translation research themes. The study puts forward corresponding suggestions on the above issues, with a view to providing reference for domestic translation studies focusing on the “Belt and Road” Initia-tive. %K “一带一路”倡议,翻译研究,CiteSpace,对比研究
