Through investigation and case analysis, this paper discusses the development process of transparent materials, summarizes the types and material characteristics, and expounds its application in space layout and function from the perspective of layer sense, light effect, space division, etc. At the same time, the aesthetic value of transparent material in space is discussed from multiple perspectives such as visual effect and psychological feeling, and the influence of light effect of transparent material glass on interior space expression is mainly analyzed, and excellent cases are cited for discussion and analysis, and the design effect of transparent material is more vivid and comprehensive. Finally, the paper summarizes the full text and looks forward to the application prospect of transparent material in living space. In the future living space, transparent materials will definitely play an irreplaceable role in living space with its unique aesthetic value and material characteristics.
