The development of population aging in the digital economy has become a global challenge, which has far-reaching implications for the social, economic and political systems of all countries. On the one hand, with the progress of science and technology and the improvement of medical level, people’s average life expectancy is constantly lengthening. At the same time, the decline of fertility rate leads to the increase of the proportion of the elderly population, and the phenomenon of population aging shows an obvious trend in our country. On the other hand, the rapid development of the digital economy has also brought new effects to the aging population. The application of digital technologies has made life easier for the elderly, but it has also increased their need to participate in the economy. In this context, to explore the challenges and countermeasures of population aging under the digital economy, the aim is to provide useful ideas and strategies for coping with the aging undertakings in our country.
