%X 古城是人类共同的瑰宝，它凝聚了一个地区的历史文化的精华，经过时间的沉淀，将最真实的历史展开在众人面前，是留给后人的珍贵财富。而古城中的商业街区关系着古城发展与延续的命脉，有着深厚的文化与经济价值，是展现其历史意义的核心所在，对城市未来的可持续发展有着重要意义。我国目前有较多古城得以留存，但就目前我国众多古城中商业街区的更新发展来看，有值得称赞之处，但也存在一定问题，对古城的发展造成了阻碍。怎样立足于城市可持续发展理念，将古城保护与更新发展相融合，让古城真正的“活起来”，是值得我们深思的问题。对此，本文以山西平遥古城为例，探讨其商业街区的保护与更新设计现状、发展优势和存在问题，并进一步提出更新设计策略。以此探究我国古城商业街区存在问题，为促进古城良好永续发展提供参考。<br />
Ancient city is a common treasure of mankind, which unites the essence of the history and culture of a region, and after the precipitation of time, the most real history unfolds in front of all people, which is a precious treasure left for future generations. The commercial district in the ancient city is related to the lifeblood of the development and continuation of the ancient city, with deep cultural and economic value, is to show its historical significance of the core of the city’s future sustainable development is of great significance. There are more ancient cities in China to remain, but at present, many ancient cities in China in the renewal of the development of commercial neighborhoods, there are praiseworthy, but there are also certain problems, the development of the ancient city caused by the obstacles. How to base on the concept of sustainable development of the city, the protection of the ancient city and update the development of integration, so that the ancient city really “live up”, is worth our deep thought. In this regard, this paper takes Pingyao Ancient City in Shanxi as an example to discuss the current situation of the protection and renewal design of its commercial street area, its development advantages and problems, and further puts forward the renewal design strategy. In this way, it explores the problems of commercial neighborhoods in ancient cities in China and provides references for the promotion of good and sustainable development of ancient cities.
