Screens, an indispensable element of interior design from ancient to modern times, have evolved from symbols to decorative and practical. This paper discusses the role and innovation of screen partition in dining space. This paper introduces the characteristics of traditional and modern screens, emphasizing the role of improving privacy, creating space form, shaping theme, enriching pattern and endowing cultural attributes in modern dining space. At the same time, the article also highlights the innovation of modern screen, including material technology, artistic modeling, functional combination and decorative color innovation. In short, screens play a key role in the dining space, combining beauty and practicality to bring diners a unique experience.
