This article focuses on the construction of identity based on the “exhibition/performance paradigm” theory. It conducts comprehensive textual analysis and participatory observation to explore the “Pretending We Live in the Magical World” group on Douban, examining the process of identity construction in the practices of Harry Potter fans (Potter-heads) engaged in role-playing. Unlike conventional fans or fandoms that engage in fanfiction or adaptations of established characters, Potterheads’ role-playing is a form of self-performance that involves discourse construction and, in turn, the reconstruction of identity and value-based identification. Through self-performance and interaction with others, Potterheads construct their identity. %K 《哈利&bull %K 波特》,迷,身份认同构建,观展/表演范式,自我呈现
