Gastric cancer ranks fifth in the global pathogenesis spectrum and the forth place in the cause of death spectrum. With the study of the pathogenesis of gastric cancer, PI3K/AKT/mTOR is closely related to the occurrence of gastric cancer. After the pathway is activated, it inhibits the apoptosis of gastric cancer cells, accelerates the cell cycle, and promotes angiogenesis, involved in the invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer.
