This article aims to explore the specific application strategies of emotional design in community building. Based on the theory of emotional design, literature research, case study, and interdisciplinary methods are used to analyze the hierarchical application logic of Donald’s three-level emotional theory, including instinctive level, behavioral level, and reflective level, in the construction of Liangzhu Cultural Village community, taking the Liangzhu Cultural Village community as an example. The three stages of community building experience in Liangzhu Cultural Village—“stranger” consensus: achieving residents’ emotional experience from the level of instinctive design; symbiosis of “semi familiar people”: achieving emotional integration of residents from the perspective of behavioral design; co-governance of “acquaintances”: achieving the continuity of residents’ emotions from the perspective of reflective design. Summarizing the specific application strategies of emotional design in community building—first, convey the cultural val-ue of the community through formal design, secondly, promote interpersonal communication by meeting the needs of residents through interactive design, and finally, stimulate emotional resonance in the community through humanistic design, thereby gradually connecting neighbors and forming a harmonious and healthy community with “acquaintance society” autonomy. %K 情感化设计,社区营造,邻里关系,艺术设计
