A Study on Senior High School English Textbook Arrangement from the Perspective of Big Ideas —A Case Study of Senior High School English Compulsory Textbooks Published by Shanghai Educational Publishing House %A 方昱萱 %J Advances in Education %P 9278-9286 %@ 2160-7303 %D 2023 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/AE.2023.13111433 %X 大概念是处于学科的核心地位、统摄学科知识、反映学科本质的学科思想和观念,对学科核心素养的培育具有重要价值。学科大概念的提取也能满足英语教学中工具性与人文性并重的需要。为了进一步厘清英语学科大概念的提取路径,本文以上教版高中英语必修教材为例,通过表格集中呈现和单元具体分析相结合的方法,归纳出“从理论到实践”和“从整体到个别”两种单元内容编排逻辑。基于大概念编排教材内容在为教学设计服务的同时,不仅能使教学过程呈现出更加清晰的脉络,还能够有效建立沟通课本知识与核心素养之间的桥梁,从而更好地促进学生学科核心素养的提高。
The concept of big ideas is a discipline ideology and concept that occupies the core of the subject, encompasses disciplinary knowledge, and reflects the essence of the subject’s ideas and beliefs. It is of great value in cultivating the core competencies of the discipline. The extraction of big ideas can also meet the needs of both instrumental and humanistic aspects in English teaching. In order to further clarify the extraction path of big ideas of English discipline, this article takes the senior high school English Compulsory textbooks published by Shanghai Educational Publishing House as an example, and uses a combination of tabular presentation and unit specific analysis to summarize two unit content arrangement logics: “from theory to practice” and “from the whole to the individual”. Organizing textbook content based on big ideas not only serves teaching design, but also pre-sents a clearer context in the teaching process as well as effectively establishes a bridge between textbook knowledge and core competencies, thereby better promoting the improvement of students’ subject core competencies. %K 大概念,核心素养,高中英语,教材分析
