Ventricular remodeling is an important adaptive change in the progression of patients with acute myocardial infarction. Understanding ventricular remodeling and curbing it in its early stages can actively and effectively improve the prognosis of patients with myocardial infarction and prevent their progression to heart failure. This article will provide an overview of ventricular remodeling from the aspects of its definition, mechanism, and treatment.
