In the process of teaching mathematics in junior high school, we should pay attention to the cultivation of students’ analogical reasoning ideas to help students build their minds. Analogous reasoning refers to the method of inferring new knowledge through the analysis of existing knowledge. In practical learning, students pay attention to the results of problems and ignore the essence of knowledge. The article combines specific mathematical examples to discuss from the aspects of knowledge reversal, knowledge comparison, knowledge framework and practical problems in mathematics. It can develop students’ interest in learning mathematics and deepen their understanding of mathematics subjects. It can also strengthen students’ control over math learning.
