The Interpretation of Content Characteristics of Translation Textbooks: From the Perspective of Content Analysis %A 张颖超 %J Modern Linguistics %P 4649-4654 %@ 2330-1716 %D 2023 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ML.2023.1110624 %X 翻译教材的内容特征对能否满足学生学习兴趣与社会发展有着重要的影响。为了探究翻译教材的内容特征对学习者翻译能力的影响,本研究对某高校翻译硕士专业15本翻译教材进行了定量内容分析,分别对理论与实践结合的模式即实践模式、理论模式和观念建构模式的文本内容进行考察。研究方法上使用了频数分布的描述性统计方法来对不同模式分布情况进行描述。研究表明:部分翻译教材尽管在结构上全面系统,但存在内容庞杂、不典型的特点。本研究根据调研结果为翻译学习者所用的翻译教材的编撰和翻译观念的培养提出相应教育启示。
The content characteristics of translation textbooks have a significant impact on whether they can meet students’ learning interests and social development. In order to explore the impact of the content characteristics of translation textbooks on learners’ translation ability, a quantitative con-tent analysis was conducted on 15 translation textbooks for MTI at a certain university in this re-search, examining the combination models of theory and practice, namely the practice-oriented approach, the theory-oriented approach and the conceptualization approach. The research method used descriptive statistical methods of frequency distribution to describe the distribution of differ-ent patterns. Research has shown that although some translation textbooks are systematic in structure, they have the characteristics of cumbersome and atypical content.
