This study aims to introduce the related concepts, theories, influencing factors and measuring tools of psychological help delay. The results show that the research in this field is relatively insufficient, and most of the research is qualitative. Future studies should further explore the concept and theory construction of delay, develop standardized measurement tools, adopt more diversified research methods, and pay attention to the interaction of influencing factors, which will enrich the understanding of this phenomenon and provide a more comprehensive reference for formulating coping strategies.
