%X 就业一直是社会科学领域热切关注的议题,就业关乎民生福祉,探究就业选择与主观福祉之间的关系具有重要意义。为此,本文实证探讨了就业选择与主观福祉的关系及其作用机制,研究发现:就业选择对主观福祉有着显著的正向效应;异质性分析表明,该效应对于男性、城市地区、高收入群体较为显著。机制分析表明,接受高等教育对二者之间的影响效应有着显著影响,以及体制内的就业选择存在一定的“名校效应”。为此,应以持续增进民生福祉为目标,以促进高质量就业为重点,夯实民生之本。
Employment has always been a hot topic of concern in the field of social sciences, employment is related to people’s well-being, and it is of great significance to explore the relationship between employment choice and subjective well-being. To this end, this paper empirically explores the relationship between employment choice and subjective well-being and its mechanism of action, and finds that: employment choice has a significant positive effect on subjective well-being; heterogeneity analysis shows that the effect is more significant for men, urban areas, and high-income groups. Analysis of the mechanism shows that access to higher education has a significant effect on both, and that there is a certain “prestigious school effect” on employment choices within the system. Therefore, we should aim at continuously improving people’s well-being and focus on promoting high-quality employment to consolidate the basis of people’s livelihood.
