However, the current science teaching in Chinese primary and secondary schools still faces many challenges, including a shortage of science teachers, an incomplete long-term effective science teacher training system, a lack of science textbooks and teaching aids, inadequate laboratory facilities, and a need to improve students¡¯ scientific practice abilities and creativity. In response to these issues, educators in China are constantly improving and perfecting science education in primary and secondary schools, attaching importance to the status and role of science education, and strengthening the construction of the teaching staff.
