The new era has put forward new requirements for the development of ideological and political ed-ucation. Positive psychology, as a subject studying the healthy development of human psychology, is the most remarkable feature of it is to pay attention to the positive part of human psychology. This provides a new idea for the development of ideological and political education. At the level of theo-retical agreement, the two have the common characteristics of goal consistency, value fit and envi-ronment synergy, which provides the possibility of integrating positive psychology into ideological and political education.
