Deep learning is a deep level learning that emphasizes critical thinking, knowledge transfer ability, and problem-solving ability, with the ultimate goal of cultivating students’ core competencies. Deep learning provides a new research direction for achieving the educational goals of the English subject. The current development of information technology can inject new vitality into the development of the English subject. Therefore, based on teaching cases, this study explores junior high school English reading teaching strategies from the perspective of deep learning at present, which helps teachers design and apply teaching activities reasonably in classroom teaching, and cultivate students’ core English literacy. %K 深度学习,初中英语阅读,教学策略
