This study delves into the narrative construction of emotional experiences in concerts, specifically focusing on Fish Leong’s concert. It explores how love ballads serve as a medium to convey and re-flect on painful experiences, eliciting resonance among listeners and prompting self-reflection and personal growth. From the perspective of innovative explorations in psychology, this research adopts an interdisciplinary approach encompassing musicology, philosophy, aesthetics, and com-munication studies. By examining the constructive narrative and filed significance of concerts, this study provides insights into the potential significance of concerts in the post pandemic era: as a shared and co-created emotional space, helping people deal with negative emotional experiences to promote personal and collective self-development.
