%X <span style=\"font-size:14px;\">重庆作为我国中西部唯一的直辖市，也是全国统筹城乡综合配套改革试验区，在西南高等教育振兴中发挥着龙头引领功能。对目前重庆高等教育现状及成效进行分析，认为重庆市高等教育发展迅速，但在教育结构、教育体系等方面仍存在一些短板，与东部地区及其他龙头城市有较大差距。对此，提出高校亟需转型发展、加强开放办学、推动成渝双城经济圈发展等建议。</span><br />
<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Chongqing, as the only municipality directly under the central government in the midwestern regions of China, is also a pilot zone for the comprehensive reform of urban and rural areas, which plays a leading role in the revitalization of higher education in southwest China. This paper analyzes the present situation and effect of Chongqing’s higher education, and holds that Chongqing’s higher education has developed rapidly, but there are still some shortcomings in the educational structure and system, which is far from the eastern region and other leading cities. In this regard, some suggestions are put forward, such as the urgent need for transformation and development of colleges and universities, strengthening open education and promoting the development of Cheng-du-Chongqing twin-city economic circle.</span>
