Taking the case published by China Judicial Documents Network as an example, the paper discusses the legitimacy of the bill holder’s bill source in the bill dispute, the question of whether the People’s Court should conduct the examination and the standard of examination and the allocation of the burden of proof when the holder’s immediate predecessor has not raised any objection to the fundamental legal relationship between the two parties.
