%X 习语扎根于文化之中，反映出不同的文化和思维方式。本文从认知语言学的角度，运用概念隐喻和概念转喻理论，分析和比较了中文和英文中一些表示“喜悦”情感的习语，以及习语产生异同的原因。结果显示，在认知机制和语义表征方面，表达“喜悦”的汉语和英语习语有一定的相似性和区别。英汉习语的相似之处是基于相似的物质世界和人类相似的生理基础，而不同之处则反映了中西方的文化多样性。<br />
Idioms are deeply rooted in cultures, reflecting different cultures and ways of thinking. This paper aims to analyze and compare some idioms expressing “happiness” in Chinese and English from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, as well as the reasons behind the differences and similarities of idioms. The results show that there are certain similarities and differences between Chinese and English idioms expressing “happiness” in terms of cognitive mechanisms and semantic representations. The similarities are based on the similar physical world and the similar physiological basis of human beings, while the differences reflect the cultural diversity of China and the West.
