In recent years, China’s online game players have grown exponentially, and minors, as one of the main player groups, are deeply affected by online games. However, at present, minors’ online games still face “management” problems such as loopholes in the time statistics of the Anti-addiction gaming health system, unscrupulous merchants peddling “cracking anti-addiction” game accounts, foreign game platforms settling in, lack of home-school management, and lack of necessary “protection” for the legitimate rights and interests of minors when participating in online games. To this end, minors’ online gaming behavior shall be regulated through methods such as advocating industry self-discipline, uniformly formulating legally binding grading systems, encouraging parents to change their concepts and actively intervene in the management of minors’ gaming behavior, and emphasizing the role of schools in educational guidance.
