The development of industrial civilization has promoted the development of human history, but it has also brought a series of environmental issues. The proposal of ecologism has prompted people to pay more and more attention to the harmonious coexistence of human beings and the natural environment. This article explains the important role of ecologism in landscape design through an overview of ecologism design trends, analysis of ecologism design principles, and examples of ecologism landscape design.
