%X <span style=\"font-size:14px;\">从古至今，我国英语教育政策不断进行改革。进入新时代以来，英语已经成为一种国际通用语。办好中小学的英语教育是我国培养跨文化交际人才的基础。在此背景下，《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》强调培养学生的核心素养。此外，新时代，中小学英语教育发展的特点表现为课程资源丰富化、教学方式信息化、教学内容综合化、师资质量更优化及英语测试与评价体系规范化。本文通过阐述新时代中小学英语课标的变化及英语教育发展特点，可以深入理解我国中小学英语教育政策的内涵，并通过分析目前中小学英语教育面临的挑战，提出相应的愿景。</span><br />
<span style=\"font-size:14px;\">Since ancient times, China’s English education policies have been continuously reformed. Since en-tering the new era, English has become an International lingua franca. Running good English education in primary and secondary schools is the foundation for cultivating cross-cultural communica-tion talents in China. In this context, the “English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition)” emphasizes the cultivation of students’ core competencies. In addition, in the new era, the characteristics of the development of English education in primary and secondary schools are manifested in the enrichment of curriculum resources, informatization of teaching methods, comprehensiveness of teaching content, optimization of teacher quality, and standardization of English testing and evaluation systems. By elaborating on the changes in English curriculum standards and the development characteristics of English education in primary and secondary schools in the new era, we can deeply understand the connotation of English education policies. By analyzing the challenges faced by current English education in primary and secondary schools, we can propose corresponding visions.</span>
