The 21st century is the century of the ocean. The strategy of maritime power is based on the education of talents with noble morality, and professional skill. This study focuses on the enhancement of the quality of oceanographers. The course of “oceanographic observation methods” is taken as an example. The current situation of the curriculum ideology and politics, and the importance with professional touch is discussed. Here, we emphasize that the education of political education of oceanography talents should be tightly combined with the oceanography itself. The methods to combine the oceanography feature with the education of maritime power are discussed. Such cur-riculum ideology and political education would help the education of oceanographers who have both ability and political integrity %K 课程思政,海洋特色,海洋调查,人才培养
