Ye Shengtao’s thought of moral education is an important part of his educational thought. Patriotism education, outlook on life education and moral education in Ye Shengtao’s moral education thoughts are the importance of teaching ideological and political courses in colleges and universities. The principles of subjectivity, practicality and integrity of moral education advocated by Ye Shengtao provide theoretical guidance for ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The teaching mode can be changed from subject-object one-way teaching to subject-subject multi-direction communication, so that the teaching process can be changed from guiding students to passive learning to active practical learning, and the teaching resources can be changed from simple to diversified. Therefore, it is necessary to fully integrate Ye Shengtao’s moral education into the teaching of ideological and political courses in Chinese colleges and universities through four approaches: building good teacher-student relationship with perfect network platform, creating interesting teaching environment with various practical activities, improving students’ comprehensive ability with effective teaching methods, and promoting students’ all-round development with rich teaching resources to help the development and progress of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. %K 叶圣陶,德育思想,高校思政课
