However, the use of technology in designing group piano lessons is still a relatively new area. The flipped teaching model (FTM) is a useful method in music learning that enable students to preview the content of a musical piece before the class and leaves more time to participate in activities during class time. The research method used in this study is a two-fold approach, including both qualitative and quantitative research. This paper discusses a strategy for applying FTM to first-year undergraduate students in a Chinese university. Before and after-class surveys were used to test studentsĄŻ attitudes toward the teaching method as well as the learning development. %K Piano Lesson %K Flipped Teaching Method %K Music Education %U http://www.scirp.org/journal/PaperInformation.aspx?PaperID=125251
