Marx’s educational thoughts are found in many of his works and constitute an important part of Marxist theory. In the Critique of the Gotha Program, Marx refuted the view of Lassarism, exposed the essence of Lassarism’s educational theory and clarified the early combination of productive labor and education, which is an important theoretical source of contemporary education. Deeply exploring the educational thought in the Critique of the Gotha Program is conducive to strengthening the Party’s leadership over education, adhering to the combination of education with productive labor and social practice, strengthening education to promote the free and comprehensive development of human beings, and constantly improving and developing the educational thought of the new era.
