%X During the review and identification of specimens of the genus Damasippus St&aring;l, 1875 deposited in the National Museum of Costa Rica, some specimens were found that corresponded to four non-described species: <i>D. sepia</i> n.sp., <i>D. viridicorpus</i> n.sp, <i>D. duoviridis</i> n.sp and <i>D. viridilabrum</i> n. sp. Due to the above, a review of the literature describing the species of this group was carried out, with which an illustrated dichotomous key was developed to identify the 16 species, in addition to a partial phylogenetic analysis to corroborate that they do not correspond to the species <i>D. fuscipes</i>, due to its morphological similarity.
