The thought of benevolence has a deep historical origin. With the development of the times, “love”, “loyalty and forgiveness” and “self-denial and courtesy” in the thought of benevolence still have important values of the times in today’s society. Deeply digging into the connotation of the thought of benevolence will help to improve personal moral cultivation, build a common spiritual home for the Chinese nation, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
