Medea is the representative work of Euripides, one of the “three great tragedy masters” in ancient Greece. It was written in 431 BC. Medea is a story that describes a wife who is betrayed by her husband and kills his son for revenge. Different from everyone’s imagination, Medea, as a role in ancient Greek mythology, was no such scenario called “children killer” before being adapted by Euripides. Therefore, in this paper, the author tries to explore what kind of historical background made Euripides choose to add the plot of killing children to the story of Medea, how these plots were accepted by people at that time and later generations, and what kind of historical significance they had respectively. %K 杀子恶魔,女性视角,复仇,古希腊神话
