Objective: To understand the current situation of clinical nurses’ innovation ability and critical thinking, and to explore the correlation between critical thinking and clinical nurses’ innovation ability. Methods: Convenience sampling was used to investigate 282 clinical nurses by general Information Questionnaire, Innova-tive Behavior Scale and Critical Thinking Scale-Chinese version (CTDI-CV) in August 2022, and the correlation between them was analyzed. Results: The score of 282 clinical nurses’ innovation ability was (31.58 ± 5.763). The highest average score of each dimension of innovative behavior was (3.42 ± 0.672) for thinking, and the lowest was (2.96 ± 0.716) for obtaining support. The total score of the critical thinking ability scale was (274.72 ± 25.270). Among the dimensions, the highest score was thirst for knowledge (45.0 ± 5.510), and the lowest score was truth seeking (33.60 ± 5.990). The innovation ability of clinical nurses was positively correlated with critical thinking (r = 0.400, p < 0.01). Conclusion: The innovative ability and critical thinking of clinical nurses are generally gen-eral. Critical thinking can affect the innovative ability of nurses. By improving the critical thinking of nurses, the innovative ability of clinical front-line nurses can be improved. %K 临床护士,创新能力,评判性思维,相关性
